Unconditional support, friendship, and love. That was dad. He was my role model, biggest supporter, best friend and shaped me into the human I am. I feel heartbroken. I still don’t *get it*. Part of me still can’t believe it. Our time together was cut way too short, but I know that I am so blessed for the many moments we had. Everyone’s thoughts and support have been greatly appreciated. And many have been generously asking if there is anything else they can do. I think dad would be happy if I answered that question by telling them to reach out to their own dad. Their own granddad. Their own son. Or their own grandson. Talk to them. Tell stories. Tell them how much you love them. Dad would be proud of that answer.
